What These Numbers Actually Mean
A "55% success rate" means: if 100 women under 35 start an IVF cycle at this clinic, approximately 55 will have a confirmed clinical pregnancy (heartbeat on scan). Of those, approximately 90% will go on to a live birth — so the live birth rate is approximately 50%.
This also means 45 out of 100 cycles do not result in pregnancy. That is not a failure of the clinic — it is the biological reality of human reproduction. Understanding this prevents false expectations.

Age is the single biggest factor — because egg quality declines with age. But age alone does not tell the whole story. Your specific success rate also depends on:
