Making the most of your fertile window
Your fertility window is the 6 days when pregnancy is possible. Having intercourse every 1–2 days throughout the green and dark green days gives you the best chance of conception. You do not need to have intercourse on one specific "perfect day" — sperm wait in the fallopian tubes for the egg to arrive.
Intercourse Timing Tips
Peak fertility days are the day before and day of ovulation (dark green). Having intercourse on these days is strongly recommended. Including the 3–4 days before ovulation is also important as sperm can survive 5 days. Once every 1–2 days is optimal.
When to Use OPKs (Ovulation Predictor Kits)
If you have irregular cycles or want to confirm ovulation, start OPK testing from Day 10 of your cycle. A positive OPK means ovulation will occur within 12–36 hours. OPKs are available at any pharmacy for approximately ₹100–₹200 per test.
